Milton Fernández was invited by the Goethe-Institut of Germany and Mexico to join the global commemoration of Beethoven’s 250th anniversary. He first appeared in a collaborative recital with pianist Nathalie Fortin, and later returned to close the celebration with one of Beethoven's last sonatas.

Milton Fernández appeared as soloist with the Camerata Mozart Caribe in the Dominican Republic, performing W. A. Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 12 in A Major, K. 414 under the baton of Maestro Michael Dabroski. The concert was presented in Regina Angelorum, the historic church situated in the Colonial City, recognized as the first city of the New World.
